Double your dollars with a matching gift.
Many employers now match employee contributions for K-12 education—yours may be one of them! Find out if your company has a matching gift program at the Donor Matching Information Page. See which companies matched EFO contributions last year with the Matching Donors List.

Kill two birds with one stone.
The United Way Donor Option Program is another way to support EFO —and help your company reach its goal of 100% participation at the same time! Simply designate "Educational Foundation of Orinda" on your United Way Donor Option card and notify the EFO office that you have done so.

Go shopping!
Take advantage of the Escrip program whenever you shop at Safeway or other participating merchants and have a portion of your purchases benefit Orinda schools! You can elect to support up to three organizations with Escrip. To register, visit www.Escrip.com and follow the sign-up instructions, using EFO’s group ID: 150733840. Enter your Safeway Club and or other card numbers as prompted, along with your name and address. It’s that simple! And there is no registration fee! If you are already participating in Escrip, you can add EFO to your account—just visit their website, log in with your name and password to "My Escrip" and then go to Account Administration. Add EFO’s group ID (above) to your list under Group Selection. That’s it!

Remember a special person or event.
Honor a recent Miramonte graduate, a friend, or loved one with a special gift to EFO on his or her behalf. Your may also make a gift to EFO in memory of a freind or loved one.  Whether in memoriam or in tribute of a special event or milestone, this is a great way to show appreciation for someone special to you and to help Orinda’s school children at the same time.

Plan ahead.
A charitable remainder trust or other bequest is a wonderful way to continue to support EFO and the future of Orinda’s schools.

Help us grow.
EFO maintains funds functioning as an endowment for both OUSD and Miramonte High School. These funds are professionally managed and provide annual special grant money for school programs and personnel. A contribution designated to the endowment will ensure continued growth of this account for long-term funding of school programs.

Share the wealth.
Appreciated stocks or securities can also be donated to EFO! You can deduct their full current value (not the purchase price) and bypass capital gains taxes. Download and print a stock donation form (PDF). Please notify EFO of all pertinent information regarding stock donations: type, number of shares, name of shareholder, and date of donation.  You or your broker may contact the EFO office for more information.
