*EFO funding for the 2010-2011 school year includes teachers' salaries for the entire program or to add additional sections to lower per class enrollment.

EFO is solely a fundraising organization raising money for all six Orinda’s schools (K-12) and the largest single contributor of funds to Miramonte, contributing $500,000 this year.

Investing in Orinda Education is what EFO has done for thirty-one years. We know that parent contributions to EFO play a vital role in the quality of education at Miramonte.  Student support services, elective and academic support and the visual/performing arts classroom support, all funded by EFO, provide benefits and life skills that prepare your student to face the demands of college. Since 1979, EFO has donated nearly $19 million to Orinda’s schools. These funds come from parents like you and community members who recognize that state funding alone is not enough to provide the well-rounded, enriched academic program we want for our children.  EFO collaborates with Parents’ Club, Boosters’ Club, Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) and school administration to align funding with school priorities.

It's so important that all parents support the fundraising campaigns of the Miramonte Parents’ Club, Boosters’ Club, VPA and EFO.

Every Miramonte teacher and student will benefit!
