After more than forty years of supporting educational excellence in Orinda’s public schools, EFO’s final fundraising campaign ended in June. Thanks to the generous contributions of school families, alumni, community members and local businesses, EFO has granted over $34M to OUSD and Miramonte High School since its inception. Without this remarkable community-wide backing, EFO’s legacy of supporting art, music, core electives, small class sizes and more would simply not have been possible, and Orinda’s schools would certainly look very different.

ONE (Orinda Network for Education) was created in the spring of 2020 uniting the Parents’ Clubs of all Orinda schools (Del Rey, Glorietta, Miramonte, OIS, Sleepy Hollow and Wagner Ranch) with EFO to establish a new fundraising foundation. ONE will strengthen, streamline and amplify collective fundraising efforts to sustain the signature programs and instrumental staff that make Orinda schools exceptional. It will also ensure equity and consistency across schools, and build a legacy for future students.
