Orinda Books author talk to benefit EFO

Tia Kratter presents "The Color of Pixar"

Sunday, October 22nd 3-5pm

Orinda Books - 276 Village Square

Tia Kratter knows color. As a Shader Art Director at Pixar Animation Studios, where she has worked since 1993, Tia was responsible for specifying the color and texture of every object modeled for the studio's films. All of that experience, all of that artistry, all of that color is brought to life again in her new book, "The Color of Pixar".

"A unique little picture book that clearly demonstrates how color is creatively employed in Pixar features. No other words are necessary - except one: Delightful!"

~ Cartoon Research
