"The Secret in the Wings" by Mary Zimmerman is an adaptation of dark, obscure fairy tales which constantly questions reality, and then turns it upside down. As in most fairy tales, the stories are at times scary and evoke childhood imagination and fear. Yet, looming disaster is averted when lessons are learned.
